Arewa Offa: A Successful Cultural Pageant.

Arewa Offa is a cultural pageant that is scheduled for the 28th December of every year packaged, organised by Beez Entertainment for HRM Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Oloyede Esuwoye II and his community.

Offa is in Kwara State, Nigeria and is fast becoming very popular in the South-West. Like Ilorin which is the capital of Kwara State, Offa is also the home of many prominent Nigerians.

The brain behind this wonderful concept is Miss Abiodun Adegoke Female Entrepreneur of the Year a category sponsored by WEEC. Click HERE . It was not a surprise that she emerged as the winner of the category in 2012. WEEC would continue to support young women at all levels. See more pictures below

Contestants

The event (Arewa Offa) which started 2011,was anchored by Laide Bakare at the Olofa's Palace (King's palace) which had Arewa (Queen) Doyinsola Hadeeza Abdul Rahman, now Miss NYSC Kebbi and the present Arewa(Queen) Damilola Sanni,a 400 level student from university of Abuja,who was crowned by HRM Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Oloyede Esuwoye II .

This event is always graced by top dignitaries ,like Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Alhaji A.W.A Ibrahim, Alhaji Saheed Popoola Chairman Offa LGA, Senator Lola Ashiru, Alhaji Brimo (Demba Gen), Alhaji Tajudeen Balogun.
