#BeautyTips: Smokey Eyes

One fashion statement that is so intriguing is the eyes. Smokey eyes is a fashion and beauty statement that is so hot when got right, it compliments all eye colors. Get Smokey eyes done rightly and be sure you'll pass your statement right.

To get those eyes looking Diva and Smokey without getting it wrong, follow these steps, let's go ladies...

i.  Proper base should be used for face, i.e base should blend with skin color, and a concealer should be used to cover dark

patches around the eyes.

ii.  Line your upper lashes with an eye pencil going from left to right on left eyes and right to left on right eyes. Line as close as possible to lashes.

iii.  Go for black, brown or grey shades of liners if you want that dark effect. For something more playful and unusual, go for green, purple or blue.

iv. Use a lighter shade of liner for the lower lashes, use a cotton swap or smudge brush to create effect.

v. For a night event, use a light base e.g shimmery gold and bronze over      your eyelids all the way up to your brow bone.                                          

 vi. Use a dark eye shadow that blends with your eyeliner, above your lash line start working from your outer side of your eyes inwards, blend and smudge with brush until eyeliner disappears.

vii. Blend upwards so that color fades from dark to light, go heavier on the outer part of the eyes

viii. Finally, use cotton swap to clean up any spot where the shadow is too dark or uneven.

Then finish by curling eyelashes with mascara for that extra splash. Smokey eyes should be toned down with nude lip sticks or just a pale pink lips.
