Li Na and Victoria Azarenka have something in common and are going to clash in the 2013 Australian open final. Li Na is a Chinese professional tennis player and has become the first Asian to win a grand slam in tennis after winning the French Open last year. Victoria Azarenka has also become the first Belarusian to win a grand slam in tennis after win the 2012 Australian open making her the defending champion at the on going campaign in Australian.
To qualify for the final, Li won Sharapova 6-2, 6-2, who set a tournament record
in dropping only nine games in five matches en route to the semis, who never
appeared in doubt on Thursday. Azarenka finished off a 6-1,
6-4 over Stephens after a medical timeout for rib and knee injuries. Azarenka the No. 1-ranked player had wasted five match points in the game
immediately before leaving the court for medical attention, then
returned to break Stephens' serve to end the match.
Both sensational players are going to compete for this year's Australian grand slam.
