WEEC Unilag was basically about the successful female Alumni of the University of lagos coming back to the University to speak words of encouragement to the students especially the female. This was an initiative of On'y va Concepts Ltd coordinator of WEEC (Women Empowerment and Enlightenment Campaign).
Yetunde Alaba popularly know as Sasha P and Tosyn Bucknor known as Area mama/Boss honoured the invitation with the desired passion required for the Campaign.When successful people seek to make an impact in their society and jump at any opportunity to empower people, WEEC like any other well meaning campaign can only do its best to recognise them in any single way.
Just in case we miss the last report, Sasha P dedicated time on her birthday to honour the call to encourage students in the very University that produced her years ago. She came on time and was happy to bond with the students and answer questions from them
Tosyn Bucknor similarly just arrived from Ghana on a hectic tour and came straight for the event to show tremendous support for WEEC and the University of Lagos where she also graduated from years ago.
According to Tosin, she is always happy and honoured to be called upon to speak in University of Lagos.
Sasha P and Tosyn Bucknor both coincidentally graduates from the Law department did not fall short of the expectation of WEEC, University of Lagos and the students that were in attendance. We hope that other celebrities and stars can take time out to join causes and support them. This is what Social Responsibility is all about.
