Nigerian fastest female: what went wrong?

Blessing
It is no more news that Nigeria finished without at the just concluded Olympics in London without a medal. We celebrated this young lady before the outing and we noticed she did not come out with her best. Blessing Okagbare is a long and triple jumper and short sprinter.
During the Olympics she finished 1st at the first round with 10.93 secs, semi finals 1st with 10.92 secs but finished slower in the finals with 11.01 secs. What went wrong?

She was also in the 4 X 100 relay team that qualified with a time of 42.74secs and finished  4th with a time of 42.64 secs. We are convinced that they could have finished third at least with the Jamaicans and the American well out of reach. We really need to encourage our own and appreciate their efforts.

Other Athletes male and female tried their best but need to do better in future competitions

Below is Blessing's record so far
