 Some of Nigerian female olympians who have made their marks in the sands of time include Chioma Ajunwa, Falilat Ogunkoya, Mary Onyali, Olabisi Afolabi, Charity Okpara, Fatima Yusuf, Gloria Alozie, Vivian Chuckwuemeka, Ruth Ogbeifor, Blessing Okogbare, Agnes Osazuwa, Oladamola Osamuyi. All in track and field events.
