The first female Chief Justice of the country, Justice Maryam Aloma Mukhtar was this morning sworn-in.
Besides, Justice Mukhtar was also decorated with the national honour of Grand Commander of Niger.
She is the 13th Nigeria CJN.
Mukhtar
is the first female lawyer in the former Northern Region, First female
High Court Judge in the North, first female Justice of the Appeal Court
and the Supreme Court.
President Goodluck Jonathan presided over the epoch making event which was well attended. |
